Upcoming Sound and GameFlow Improvements
Heylo, Stefan here! (:
It's really fun to see good reception when a game we release strikes us fancy, so I'd like to thank anyone who shared input with us so far, whatever field it was in.
We've been keeping an extra eye on the gritty side of the project as the opinions roll in, and crunching a few improvements on our side (code optimization, tiny bugs and that kind of stuff). As the jam evaluation period comes to an end, we intend to release a new version that should solve any kind of issues we know some of you might have had (sound taking a tad to load and missing a warning for flashing lights, for instance), but we're holding it until then so this version is the one that gets evaluated, not the bug fixed one.
After the Waves Crash is pretty much finished as it stands, and nothing on the experience shall change, however, so the game that you see now will - hopefully - have the same feel once we release the newer version.
Once again, thanks so much for checking us out. We hope the next time you catch a storm near the ocean you feel the need to double take for extra eyes or the creepy voice along the wind.
After the Waves Crash
A captain and his ship lost in sea, how horrifying could his trip be?
